It's that time of year again in Melbourne when the fillies frock up, the sales of bandaids skyrockets (with all those gorgeous new shoes!) and we feel perfectly normal sipping bubbles at 10am in the morning!
Ah yes the races!
Tried our luck a few weeks ago at Flemington but we certainly spent more time screwing up our TAB tickets in disgust rather than visiting the tote to collect.
If you are heading trackside or just having a quiet flutter at home our cupcake wrappers will look the part as you nibble on a yummy cupcake and sip your bubbles!

our replica Melbourne Cup is a Vinnies find, the Veuve Picnic carrier was a treasure at the Camberwell Market, the horsey plate an ebay find and the gorgeous roses (if only you could smell them!) are just from our garden.
