Merry! Merry!

One more sleep!

Natalie and I would like to wish everyone a

wonderful Christmas.

We hope you have a lovely day with your family and friends celebrating

 with lots of yummy food and bubbles!

This year has just been an amazing journey for us

and we would also like ot thank everyone who was a part of it

in any way.

Whether we met you at one of the markets we did, you purchased our wrappers, you commented on our facebook page, you told your Auntie Nellie about our wrappers, you assisted us in getting media coverage, you stock our wrappers in your store....

anything!

We are so grateful for all the support we have had this year as we 

launched our business.

Not only have we had a successful year, but we have also met some amazing people along the way.

It has been a fabulously exciting start to our Cupcake Wrapper Co journey!

There are lots of plans in the works for 2011.

It's going to be very exciting and we can't wait to share it all with you too.

Stay tuned for that in the new year.

Magnolia Square Adelaide - Wrap Up

Just over a week ago we participated in our 

final market for 2010.

The always lovely Magnolia Square in Adelaide

It's hard to believe we have only been doing them since March this year!

We have had a great time developing our own little 

pop-up shoppe for every market we do.

As we both love merchandising so much its also a great chance for us

to flex our creative muscle a bit too.

This has paid of as we have now won 2 VM awards at 

Magnolia Square

and we always get lots of 

ooh's and aah's 

when people visit our stall!

It's all great fun!

We also love meeting our customers.

Finding out how they discovered our wrappers.

We love seeing their faces when we tell them are actually reusable!

Their eyes light up like saucers!

So for our last pop-up event for 2010, we packed our bags 

and headed to Adelaide for 

Magnolia Square.

There were a few little glitches...

Yes, the stall did collapse right as we had completely set it up.

If you know our stall and all the knicky knacks and goodies we have displayed you may understand the 

CRASH

the incredible sound that resonated around Norwood Concert Hall!

Luckily there were only minor casualities

and the The Cupcake Wrapper Show did roll on!

My arm and hand are still a lovely shade of bluey-black 

as the table slid down my arm.  

Eek!

Plus it rained in Adelaide.

What?!

It was meant to be very warm and sunny.

We did not pack umbrella or even a cardy.

Anyway...we soldiered on.

We met so many lovely Adelaidians...

Leanne the Cake Charmer and we will never forget Bonnie,

by far our best customer yet!

Mathilda's Market here we come!

It's only 5 weeks until Christmas or something ridiculous like that.

Eek, that means only 4 weeks til school breaks up!

I even booked my Christmas tree delivery the other day.

And soon I will be ordering my turkey & ham at the Camberwell Market.

My stash of Christmas decorations were dragged out from 

our 'Aladdins Cave' (under the house) 

so we could decorate our market stall yesterday.

It was quite fun to see them all again and think of new ways to use them.

So The Cupcake Wrapper HQ is in full-on Christmas mode!

We had a very successful market yesterday at

Camberwell South Primary School

and 

now we are all geared up for the big one

Hippity Hop...Oooh a Red Bunny!
