It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Our beautiful new red and green cupcake wrappers have arrived!

We had fun digging out all the Christmas decorations this morning so we could bring you the photos asap.

We are lucky enough at Cupcake Wrapper HQ to have an abundance of lovely vintage decorations we have collected from family, ebay and markets.

It was hard to choose which ones to use!

Our wrappers look great with cupcakes, but they will be perfect for mini Christmas cakes and even puddings!

A new man at Cupcake HQ...

A new man arrived at Cupcake Wrapper HQ today.

He is so very strong and handsome - in a 'puffy' kind of way.

I have been admiring him for such a long time, but always from afar.

Whilst I coveted him - our paths kept crossing but we never actually 'met'.

He kept evading me on ebay or was easily lost in the crowd at

Camberwell Market.

Finally as I had a fossick at our local second hand shop I found him.

It was fate, I had to have him!

As the Melbourne spring days have been so beautiful over the last few weeks, it has been lovely to fling open the front door and let the breezes flow.

Now I have my 'Man' to hold that door tight.

Speaking of spring....

The lovely oldies who we purchased our house from many moons ago had pretty green thumbs and we are still reaping the benefits of their gardening prowess all these years later.

These old roses are just divine and seem to get better and better every year.

The perfume is incredible!

One of our favorites...Peonies!

Aren't these peonies gorgeous?

They would have to be one of our all-time favorite flowers.

Natalie is very lucky to have a wonderful friend who gives her peonies from her tree every year. 

They just happen to flower right around the time of Natalie's birthday. 

What a beautiful birthday pressie!

Milk glass is another favorite thing at Cupcake Wrapper HQ.

We have been lucky enough to find many milk glass treasures at our local opp shops.  It is starting to become quite hard to find it so we pounce on it whenever we are hit the oppies for a fossick!

Giddy Up!

It's that time of year again in Melbourne when the fillies frock up, the sales of bandaids skyrockets (with all those gorgeous new shoes!) and we feel perfectly normal sipping bubbles at 10am in the morning!

Ah yes the races!

Tried our luck a few weeks ago at Flemington but we certainly spent more time screwing up our TAB tickets in disgust rather than visiting the tote to collect.

If you are heading trackside or just having a quiet flutter at home our cupcake wrappers will look the part as you nibble on a yummy cupcake and sip your bubbles!

A few of our fabulous finds....

our replica Melbourne Cup is a Vinnies find, the Veuve Picnic carrier was a treasure at the Camberwell Market, the horsey plate an ebay find and the gorgeous roses (if only you could smell them!) are just from our garden.

Another busy week...

Another busy week at The Cupcake Wrapper HQ!

We set up shop at Etsy, listed the wrappers on Ebay, packed off orders for new wholesale clients and fielded enquiries from retailers, newspapers and magazines!

PHEW!

We had a great shoot on Tuesday thanks to the lovely Carol.
