Off we go to Magnolia Square!

It's on again!
Magnolia Square.

The orginal and the best boutique market in Melbourne
has a new venue...
Ivanhoe
We have had a long association with 'Mag'
and we are super excited to be supporting
this exciting new venue.

We hope to see lots of our regular Mag shoppers, plus
meet many new ones discovering the amazing
for the first time.

Styling our stall is always fun.
We love to do something different for each market we participate in.
And luckily for us we have won several Best in Show awards!
It is always a thrill to know that our shoppers and our peers at the markets appreciate our styling.
It is an element of our Cupcake Wrapper Co brand we pride ourselves in,
plus we have an enormous amount of fun putting it all together!

So what can you expect this time at Mag?
I'm thinking a vintagey theme (of course!) and some fresh spring flowers.
And there is no doubt it will be pretty!

So come along to the gorgeous Magnolia Square to see
all your fave retailers like
We Heart Books
Make Me Iconic
Printspace
Leoni & Vonk
Missie
Crayon Chick
Little Bird Photography
plus lots of brand spanking new retailers as well

We are also excited that one of our fave stylists will be on site to
wave her magic wand!
best known for her lovely pages in The Sunday Age.
Cant wait to catch up with Heather again!

Saturday 20th August 10 - 5pm
Sunday 21st August 10 - 4pm

See you there!

Competition Time!

It's no secret our Blog postings have been few and far between this year.
But our Facebook page has been chugging along nicely thank you very much!
We will hit 4000 Fans this week!

WOW!

We are so excited every time we see another Fan join the page.
Our fans join us from all over the world...
USA, UK, Denmark, Mexico, Chile, Malaysia, France, to name a few.
The power of the internet is just gobsmackingly amazing!!

So to celebrate all things cupcake wrapperery,
let's have a competition!

Christmas In July!

Some of our most popular designs are our Christmas designs.
So why wait until December to use them?
Many people celebrate Christmas in July.
Especially in Australia as it is usually 40degrees on December 25th!
The cooler month of July allows us to don our winter woollies, stoke the fire, make the egg nog and have a little festive fun.

Personally I cant wait to have some Plum Pudding.
Luckily Mum makes an extra pudd so we can have it around our birthdays (which also happen to be in July)
Plum Pudd is the perfect winter comfort food!
Now to make the brandy butter and I will be a happy camper!

TO WIN:
Just post a comment on how you would use our Christmas cupcake wrappers.
We will select the best answers and give away 5 packs!
Yep, that's right...5 packs!
So there will be 5 winners!
Tell your friends as we want to share the cupcake wrapper love!
Dont forget to become a Fan on our Facebook page too if you arent already

Thanks to everyone for your support!
Good luck - we hope you win!

Happy Australia Day!

Hello 2011!

The new year swished in so quickly and now January is nearly over already!
We have both had lots of family time over the month
and now we are getting ready to head back to school and kinder.

I have to admit I love January.
The beach, the Australian Open tennis, the barbies, daylight saving, mangoes, the local pool, the cicadas, nectarines, the one day cricket, watching the bats glide across the sky at dusk, fish and chips, a good book, smearing Nivea on your skin after a day in the sun.
Aaahh...the is nothing like it!

It's Australia Day today.

And what a country it is.
We LOVE it!

Both Natalie and I have been lucky enough to travel far and wide.
And we can confidently say we do live in the best country in the world and the best city for that matter too.
Yes, call us parochial, we dont mind one bit!

The republican debate always fires up at this time of year too.
As much as I do agree Australia should be a republic, I do love a royal!
I cannot wait for the royal wedding in April too!
(Steve and I will now share our anniversary with Will and Kate!)

We are firing up the bbq tonight with some yummy recipes from
the new Ben O'Donoghue cookbook; At Home With Ben.
The kids will play on the tramp all night and we can sit back and relax with some bubbles and the ipod.
What more could you wish for?

Have an ace day!
